Land Management Crew Members
Global Soils is the leader in mine site revegetation and rehabilitation across NSW and QLD. We are currently seeking motivated and experienced Bush Regen/Land Management Crew Members to join our team on a permanent basis at various sites across the Hunter Valley.
Working as part of a small team you will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing rehabilitated and buffer lands, maintenance of access tracks and other site infrastructure, collection of native seed and assisting with tubestock planting programs.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Qualifications in Conservation, Bush Regeneration, Land Management, Horticulture, Landscaping, Environmental Science or similar.
- Demonstrated experience in a similar role.
- Strong plant identification skills and knowledge of weed management techniques.
- Proficiency in operating small plant and equipment such as backpack sprayers, brush cutters and high volume spray units.
- Current AQF3 chemical handling accreditation.
- High level of fitness and 4×4 driving experience.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills to liaise with clients and plan work.
Desirable:
- Mine site experience
- First aid certificate
- White card

Land Management Trainee
Global Soils are now accepting applications for our 2026 traineeship program. This is a fantastic opportunity for those with a passion for the environment to kick-start a rewarding career in land management, ecological restoration, and mine site rehabilitation.
About the Role
As a Trainee, you will work as part of a small, supportive team to:
- Maintain and enhance rehabilitated and buffer lands through effective weed management
- Carry out maintenance of access tracks, drainage lines, and other site infrastructure.
- Collect native seed for propagation and seeding.
- Gain hands-on experience across all aspects of revegetation including:
- Tubestock planting programs
- Seeding
- Hydromulching
You will develop practical field skills, learn to use specialised equipment, and contribute directly to large-scale environmental restoration projects.
